Hello! I'm Jonathan Machell, an experienced IT developer and integration specialist based in the North West of England.

I have over 15 years' experience designing, developing and maintaining enterprise systems, primarily for the higher education sector. My expertise spans:

  • Database development and optimisation (T-SQL, PL/SQL, SQL Server, Oracle)
  • Web development and integration (PHP, JavaScript, jQuery, APIs, XML/JSON)
  • SITS development (Tribal SITS:Vision, e:Vision, interfaces and reporting)
  • Server administration and automation (Linux, Apache, shell scripting, cron jobs)

I specialise in helping organisations:

  • Integrate complex systems and automate processes
  • Optimise databases and improve system performance
  • Deliver bespoke web tools and reporting solutions

I work remotely with excellent connectivity and am available for short-term freelance projects, contract work or consultancy.
